I'm sorry for the lack of crafting & blogging
I've been pretty busy lately
But I've had to ring in sick at work today so to keep my mind off things I'll definitely be crafting :3
I have a few ideas for my Smash book & I'm in the mood for some painting but I'm not entirely sure what to paint! The Totoro hearts are starting to bore me & I need something new hah
I've never posted my Totoro hearts on this blog!

I got my first of three mini scrapbook swaps the other day!

This one is from Stacey

The tea party paper is super cute & I was so excited to see she sent me some official Smash post-its & things!

I sent one to her a few days ago, I'll post pictures when she lets me know she has received it, so I don't ruin the...surprise I guess!

I haven't done postcrossing in a while but I started again about two weeks ago & I got three postcards already

I wasn't particularly impressed with the one from Russia, I have no idea what it says & it's kinda of...boring? But the stamps are lovely & I just love getting mail.

Thinking of adding silly little doodles like this in future scrapbook packs & in letters to my crafty penpals.

Tonight I made this envelope to put Stacey's mini scrapbook swap things in!

I also coloured in my Smash book yesterday but I'm not sure if I like it or not :/

I asked for some ideas for pages in my Smash book the other day & so far people have said

Today's Postcard

I got a super beautiful postcard from Sri Lanka this morning from coveredwithcandy

I started three pages that I will add to over time

I started a page with stamps on & added on two envelopes as little pockets to store things

Also, most stamps I had were already in my Wreck This Journal but I haven't touched my WTJ in a long time, I kind of got bored of it, it wasn't personal enough for me

So! I ripped out the two pages & glued them in to my Smash book.

Now that I've started this page I'm kind of gutted because I've given away about thirty stamps over the past month, some of which were super awesome!

So if anyone has any spare stamps & is kind enough to part with them could you please email me & I'll sort out a swap of some sort!

I started it off with my chicken suit from today!

I work at Nando's in Manchester & we have a little stall in the Manchester Picnic & I've been walking around in this suit today handing out free chicken wings, merch & vouchers!

It was pretty awesome (& extremely sweaty haha)

I also started a page where I plan to make a collage of pictures I've taken when I've been on holiday!
So far I only have the eiffel tower & two pictures of beautiful statues in Stuttgart! I've just stuck them in with blu-tak for now until I print out some more!

So that's what I've done tonight!

I have a Tumblr similar but I originally started that to 'bookmark' things I wanted to make & craft inspiration
